This innovative feature allows you to add that forgotten sock after you’ve already started a load.
The Load & Go Feature

Whirlpool’s new Load & Go System allows you to add enough detergent for up to 12 loads of laundry at one time. Simply add detergent when the light comes on, and you can skip adding detergent every time you load up your washing machine.
The Wash and Dry Cycle
Whirlpool has added another innovative feature to their washers that’ll help get you to that very important meeting on time. With FanFresh technology, Whirlpool offers its users the option to dry clothes after they’ve been washed without having to move them over to the dryer. If you’re pressed for time or won’t be home to move your load from the washer to the dryer, activate the Wash and Dry cycle. Your clothes will be ready to be worn as soon as they come out of the washing machine.
Smart Top Load Washers and Dryers
Whirlpool has also released a set of laundry appliances perfect for the top-loading tech lovers in the family. This duo is part of a joint program with NEST and allows homeowners to connect with their washers and dryers using their smart phones. Simply download the app, and you can control your set from your phone. Some of the things you can do include:
- Running your laundry appliances during low-cost, off-peak energy hours
- Switch the machine to quiet mode when you’re home
- Access troubleshooting and diagnostic features if something breaks down
